So my family and I went camping this past weekend. We haven’t been for several months and I’ve been extremely busy with starting Cotton Cupcakes. When we packed our clothes, my eldest daughter asked me if she should pack some of our CC t-shirts. I always tell my kids that they can wear any shirt they want, whether it’s my design or not but my daughter said “Mom, I want to wear your shirts. They are my favorites.” I smiled and put my head down so she wouldn’t see my eyes water. When your preteen says she likes something that you made, it feels powerful and I was proud of myself. During our trip, we were entering a botanical garden and the woman at the entrance turned and said “ I love your shirts! Where did you get them?” My daughter turned to me and said “See Mom, I told you they were my favorites. “ I love you sweetheart. Thank you.
I am obsessed with these shirts!
